Healing the Split: Caring For Our Womb Space Workshop

Saturday, May 3 ~ 10:30am to 12:30pm ~ Kula Collective ~ 744 Leonard St NW

We live in a world where feminine energy often holds a negative connotation and is associated with words such as "emotional," "soft," or "weak." Whereas masculine energy is seen as "strong," "capable," and "stable." These associations lead to a great imbalance of energies within our bodies and psyches, particularly for women. If gone unseen, energetic imbalances may results in physical symptoms like rigidity, guarded posture, stiff shoulders, heavy periods, pelvic floor dysfunction, a tight and constricted throat, low self-esteem, and an overall lack of fluidity and harmony. Most importantly, this energetic split can cause women to completely disconnect from their womb space.

In a society where bigger is better, efficiency is key, and menstruation is perceived as an inconvenience, it’s crucial we take the time to reconnect with what makes us women. Our womb holds the key to our deepest intuition — it is our direct connection to creation. Our womb stores our emotions, then each month, it allows us to shed what no longer serves us. The womb is our divine feminine within.

Join Erica Zarafonetis, master level energy healer and owner of I AM Healing, for a morning of intention, reconnection and fluidity at the “Healing the Split” workshop. Participants will learn about both masculine and feminine energies, how each shows up in our lives, and signs of energetic imbalance. Erica will lead the group in somatic movement, womb breathing, and journaling exercises. Time will end with an integration meditation, including hands on energy support and clearing, to connect to your divine feminine.

Come prepared to be both challenged and supported as you embark on the tender journey of reconnecting with your softer female side. Bring a yoga mat and journal to use during reflection time. Wear clothing that is comfortable to move in and sparks your inner feminine. Anyone receiving hands-on support will be asked to sign a release.

Saturday, May 3 @ 10:30a-12:30p @ THE KULA COLLECTIVE

“Woman have often been portrayed in our society as unfocused, fickle, and too emotional to get the job done. This lack of focus and clear differentiation in women is perceived as weak, inferior, and dependent - not only by the dominant culture but by many women as well.”
